A tropical escape closer than you think, The Winds Resort Beach Club has been an Ocean Isle tradition for generations. It's an excellent choice for its range of accommodations and prices and is proudly rated the AAA highest rating (3 Diamond). Studios, mini-suites, deluxe rooms, one- and two-bedroom suites, and resort cottages with four, five or six bedrooms are all richly appointed and comfortable. Some of the resort cottages have private, outdoor Jacuzzis; many accommodations have indoor whirlpools and kitchen facilities. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with 11 varieties of palm trees, banana trees and lush flowering plants nestled among meandering boardwalks and decks. This family-owned motel, the only one at Holden Beach, is very well-maintained and courteously run.
