Hurricane Shutters and Film

Increasingly popular with homeowners in beach communities, especially those with oceanfront and riverfront property, are hurricane shutters. Another option is a protective film installed on the inside of your windows. Definitely easier to deal with than heavy plywood boards traditionally used to cover glass windows and doors, hurricane shutters and storm panels come in a variety of styles from roll-down to accordion. When deciding what you'd like for your own home, take a drive along beach community roads or go to a home show to see examples.PW 06-22-07
