KOA is a name that everyone recognizes as quality when it comes to camping, and this facility provides that familiar camping experience to the Brunswick County beaches area. Only five miles from Sunset Beach and Ocean Isle Beach, the KOA offers RV campsites (including extra-long sites), tent sites, Kamping Kabins and a Kottage/Lodge. Sites include 30-amp or 50-amp service, cable TV and access to a Kamping Kitchen. DSL hook-up and wireless Internet are available, as are a swimming pool, horseshoe pits, a basketball goal, a volleyball net and fishing. Planned activities are offered on holidays and weekends. Amenities available with a small charge include LP gas, firewood and bicycles. Three golf courses, area attractions and Calabash seafood restaurants are nearby.RP 10-11-07

Open year round and located 2.5 miles from Holden Beach, this 240-site campground offers daily, weekly, monthly and annual rates. Amenities include either 30-amp or 50-amp electricity, water and sewer, modern bathhouses with tiled hot showers, laundry facilities, LP gas, security lights and a convenience store (open March through October). A large swimming pool, a nine-hole putt-putt golf course, pool tables, video games, volleyball, horseshoes and a children's playground provide recreation options. Covered boat storage with monthly boat or camper storage rates is available.RP 10-11-07

    Sea Mist's panoramic view of Shallotte Inlet and Ocean Isle Beach is enough to entice any camper, but the view is only one of the appealing amenities. Visitors love Sea Mist's pool, reputedly the largest in Brunswick County, with its shaded deck and picnic area. Volleyball, basketball and horseshoes are among the activities available. Use of the boat ramp carries no extra charge. This Woodall-rated resort is open year round and has 250 spacious RV sites with tables. Most have full hookups. The restrooms, bathhouse and coin-operated laundry facilities are clean, and the camp store is open from March 1 through November 30. Perhaps best of all, Sea Mist is only 10 minutes from the attractions of Ocean Isle Beach. Leashed pets are permitted. Daily and annual rates are available, as is boat storage for annual guests. Reserve early. Sea Mist is at the Intracoastal Waterway opposite the east end of Ocean Isle Beach. Follow the blue and white camping signs along N.C. Highway 179 to Brick Landing Road and continue to the end of the pavement. Turn left onto Devane Road.RP 10-11-07
