Originally a 1950s boarding house, Beacon House Inn Bed
and Breakfast is a reminder of a simpler life in days gone by. The decor
features pine tongue-in-groove paneled walls, vintage photographs and
memorabilia blended with modern amenities. Everything about the place says
"relax and make yourself comfortable." Air-conditioned guest rooms are
decorated in different motifs and have paired doors, one being regular and
one louvered to take advantage of hallway breezes while still offering
privacy to room occupants. There are multiple options for rooms, including
those with private baths, hall baths and shared suites. One guest room comes
complete with a two-person air-jet whirlpool tub. A two-bedroom/bath suite
is ideal for two couples traveling together or families with children.
Full Southern breakfasts are served daily. Three cozy,
clean, cottages decorated in Caribbean themes are available for rent as
well, offering two and three bedroom accommodations with fully equipped
kitchens, linens, starter essential kits, satellite TVs and porches. Two of
the cottages are pet friendly, and children are welcome in all three. Custom
packages are available, should you choose to rent the entire inn or the inn
and cottages for a larger group, wedding or reunion. Private catering is
also available on-site should you desire it. In addition, there are spa
packages and romance packages for that special occasion. Beacon House Inn is
located in Carolina Beach, across the street from the ocean, close to the
Boardwalk and near a popular fishing pier. Endless outdoor activities can be
found nearby. Golf opportunities are plentiful, and historic downtown
Wilmington, the N.C. Aquarium at Fort Fisher and two great state parks are
just minutes away.

If you want to be a darling, take your
darling to Darlings by the Sea for a romantic getaway. This small
boutique hotel offers five fabulously appointed oceanfront whirlpool
suites, just steps away from the beach. Each suite offers an ocean
view, a king-sized bed with Egyptian cotton triple sheets and
Siberian goose down comforters, top-quality interiors with Natuzzi
leather seating from Italy, and a mirrored whirlpool for two with
thick towels imported from Scotland, and custom soaps and bubble
bath. Each morning you'll enjoy a breakfast of fruit, pastries,

or take a short stroll over to the beach. Hidden Treasure Inn's
atmosphere of warmth and hospitality makes it a great getaway from

makes each of her guests feel like a long-time friend. All units
have air conditioning, cable TV, a refrigerator, a microwave and a
coffee maker, and the three efficiency kitchens are fully equipped.
