Venture a little outside the immediate area and you can ride an awesome roller coaster called Chang or visit a major zoo.

We've divided attractions into categories -- which we've, in turn, subdivided geographically. Our categories are: Oldies But Goodies (historic sites); History in the Making (still-in-use "political" buildings); Our Checkered Past (historical museums); Gone But Not Forgotten (cemeteries and a memorial); Natural Wonders; Wild Things (zoos and a wildlife sanctuary); Thrills, Chills and Spills (amusement parks); Crafted With Pride (handmade arts and crafts); River Crossing (bridges and a ferry); Planes, Trains and Automobiles; Sweet Stuff (candy and soft drink makers); and Seeing Stars (a somewhat whimsical combination of a planetarium and two performing arts centers).
