organizations that always welcome and train new volunteers. Volunteering
offers an opportunity to learn something new or teach others, and groups

ability to volunteer their time, there are other ways of helping out
such as giving monetary donations, donating goods or services, or
participating in various fund-raising events that benefit these local

of the treasures of this area is the support and involvement of those in
the community. Volunteers make up the core of many organizations on the
Crystal Coast. These individuals of all ages render their time, talents,
experience and services. Through a variety of volunteer opportunities,
residents donate their talents in gardening, narrating historical tours,
helping students, directing tourists, preserving the natural
environment, building houses, offering tax preparation assistance and
assisting hospital patients and underprivileged families. Volunteering
brings satisfaction to many people's lives and offers the chance to not
only give back to the community but also meet other people with common
interests.
