Tennis

Tennis is another one of those not-so-well-known Crystal Coast treasures. The Crystal Coast has really good places to play tennis, just not many of them. As with golf, you can play tennis almost all year round. (Some parks that aren't mentioned in this section have tennis courts too. See the Parks section at the end of this chapter.)TN 12-17-07

Volleyball

Beach volleyball is catching on. Tournament nets are on the main beach at The Circle in Atlantic Beach, and there is usually plenty of action there. For information about beach volleyball tournaments, call the Atlantic Beach Town Hall, (252) 726-2121. An indoor volleyball league is sponsored by the Carteret County Parks and Recreation Department, (252) 808-3301.TN 12-17-07
