Western Carteret/Swansboro Marinas Almost every home or business on the White Oak River or Bogue Sound has a
dock, boat ramp or both. But the commercial docks, particularly the ones big
enough and with channels dredged deep enough to accommodate a very large
motor or sailing yacht, are few. Casper's Marina Conveniently located on the Intracoastal Waterway in
Swansboro, Casper's has dry storage of boats up to 150 feet, and 180 feet
of open dock for transient boaters. Haul-out repairs, gas and diesel fuel
also are available. Dudley's Marina
Inc. North of Swansboro off the ICW, Dudley's is
a working boat yard and marina with 25 slips, overnight dockage at the
fuel dock, repair services, and gas and diesel fuels. It services
Mercruiser, Mercury and Volvo Penta marine engines.
