Boaters who arrive in Beaufort via the ICW
may drop anchor in Taylor's Creek in the designated anchorage on the south
side of the channel. A number of moorings are privately owned, and boaters
are asked to respect waterway courtesies of space and anchorage. There is no
charge for anchoring and no limit for length of stay. A public dinghy dock
and restrooms are available. The dock master at the Dock House is available
to answer questions. Town Creek on the north side of Beaufort is also a
designated anchorage with a dinghy landing. Airport Marina At the north end of Turner Street on South Creek,
Airport Marina has 17 wet slips, a launch ramp and restrooms. Boaters also
can purchase snacks, cold sodas and beer, ice and fishing tackle.
Beaufort Town Dock Beaufort Town Docks has 100 slips and gas and diesel
fueling. It accommodates boats up to 250 feet. Right on the Boardwalk in
downtown Beaufort, the marina is convenient to restaurants and lodging, and
it offers a courtesy car to use for supply runs. Beaufort Docks The marina most frequently visited by transient
boaters visiting the Crystal Coast has gas and diesel fueling services.
Behind Finz's Restaurant in downtown Beaufort, the marina also offers snacks
and ice. Radio Island Marina Radio Island Marina, located on the Morehead
City-Beaufort Causeway, has 38 dry stack rentals and eight wet slips,
lift-out dry storage and gasoline. It offers repairs and sells boats and
fishing supplies. Sea Gate Marina Off N.C. Highway 101, 1 mile north of Core Creek
Bridge on the ICW, Sea Gate is a development with a 72-slip marina used for
both residents and non-residents. Gas and diesel fuels and a launch ramp are
also available, as are 24-hour laundry facilities, a boaters' lounge, a
small ship's store and showers. |

Just north of the Beaufort drawbridge,
Town Creek offers many services, including a complete boat yard with a
50-ton lift, 88 wet slips with floating docks, transient dockage for boats
up to 140 feet, dry storage, and gas and diesel fuels.
