Bed and breakfast lodging can be the ideal retreat for those seeking a quiet, stress-free vacation. Room arrangements and breakfast specialties vary at each inn. Most do not have facilities for young children or pets, and smoking, if allowed at all, is often restricted to certain areas.

Bed and breakfast lodgings in the county vary from historic inns in Beaufort to a rural inn Down East to beach-focused inns on Bogue Banks. Each offers charming surroundings, memorable views and warm hospitality, and most are within walking distance of area attractions, shops and restaurants.
