Tips
Playing
at coastal courses, the wind can make a difference of several clubs on one
hole. The par 3 you reached with a 7-iron yesterday may require a 4-iron
today. Keep the breeze in mind when you're making your club selection.
Count
your clubs before beginning play and be sure to take the same number home
with you. Be especially careful around the greens, an area where players are
most likely to leave a club behind.
Always
mark your ball before lifting it. Do this by placing your marker behind your
ball, so you're not changing your putting line at all.
Carry
a copy of the current United States Golf Association rule book (which, of
course, you've read and memorized) in your golf bag.
